I have always given my Legal Librarians whatever title that they want. Their MLS degrees coupled with their Paralegal Certificates are earned, and they have always done their job well, including MIS. Nobody is going to think that the Director of Library Services is necessarily a lawyer, even though they influence our purchases of printed and electronic Reference Materials, both on-line and off-line.
